Ben Lambert brings a strong passion and a progressive search methodology to the Gary Kaplan & Associates team. He possesses a high level of skill in and appreciation for traditional and proven search techniques, yet is always looking for innovative ways to serve our clients. As a result, he has proven to be adaptive to the evolving needs of each search, providing a highly thorough yet efficient approach to the entire search process. He has an extraordinary respect for and understanding of our clients' needs and is fully committed to building lasting relationships through open and regular communication.
Mr. Lambert began his professional career with Gary Kaplan & Associates in 2000 as a Research Associate, and has since held a number of roles of increasing responsibility within the firm. With a successful track record as an executive search generalist, he has completed searches in the following areas: financial services, manufacturing, education, non-profit, information technology, pharmaceutical/biotechnology, entertainment, and consumer products. His diverse search expertise spans a variety of functional disciplines including: general management, finance, information technology, human resources, sales and marketing, facilities/design and construction, engineering, and supply chain management.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lambert worked as an English Instructor with the Kinjo Gakuin University in Nagoya, Japan. He was one of two chosen for this highly selective, two-year program and was the first visiting instructor in the history of the program to be fully integrated into the Kinjo Gakuin staff. During this time he achieved a conversational ability in the Japanese language. Earlier in his career, Mr. Lambert was employed by an award-winning, four-diamond resort, where he served as the Director of Sales and Banquet Operations. These experiences nurtured Mr. Lambert's ability to adapt and succeed in culturally and politically sensitive environments. They also helped develop his leadership and customer service skills as well as his ability to develop and sustain relationships with clients.
Mr. Lambert graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and East Asian Area Studies from Eckerd College in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He has also completed his coursework towards a Master of Architecture degree from the California State Polytechnic University in Pomona.
